Community
We are committed to helping the community through a variety of projects and endeavours. We value the importance of teamwork and take on every challenge together.
01
Planting & Rejenuvation
The Kamo Marsh team regularly assists in planting and rejuvenation projects. It is alwaysa great day out, away from the desk and back to the dirt!
02
Ronald
MacDonald
House
For the last five years Kamo Marsh has been part of the Family dinner programme at Ronald MacDonald house. We provide and prepare a meal (including dessert!) on site for the families staying in the house while their children are in hospital.
03
Children’s Christmas
Party
Since 2010 Kamo Marsh has been a sponsor of the Special Children’s Christmas Party. Each year an amazing party is put on at Horncastle Arena for children with life threatening illness, physical and intellectual impairment, domestic violence, or living in underprivileged circumstances. We are proud to be involved.
04
Blind
Foundation
Guide Dog
Kamo Marsh is proud to sponsor puppies in training to become a Blind Foundation Guide Dog. So far, we have supported Harris, Tory, and Norah and now helping Otis through his training. The Blind Foundation informs us he is making PAW-some progress!
05
NZ Blood Donation
Service
For those of us who are not squirmish we donate blood to the New Zealand Blood Service bi-annually. It doesn’t take a lot to make a big difference and the hot chocolate and bikkie afterwards is always a treat!
06
Other
Ventures
Each month a staff member is invited to chose a charity which is dear to them and which Kamo Marsh will donate to on their behalf. Thanks to our wonderful team so far we have pledged to:
Refugee Appeal, The Red Cross, Pillars, NZ Breast Cancer, the NeoNatal Unit Canterbury, White Matters Brain Trust and there are still more to come!
